This whole turn of events has come about over choices. Nick chose to race. John chose to ride in what is known as the “suicide seat” with him as he raced. Hulk’s wife chose to leave and attempt to escape this turmoil. I think time will turn this around, but that’s just me. Hulk chose to stay and fight, and I admire him for that. The choices to plan from the jail cell certain moneymakers may not have seemed the kindest, but who knows WHAT to do when your life is turned upside down.
I was very moved by Hulk’s words and I don’t think this is fake.
Yes, the boys made wrong choices. They are paying for their choice in different ways just as my oldest son is paying for choices HE made. I choose to let him pay so that no one else can be hurt.
