True, the wedding had been planned for this summer. But this week a London tabloid reported that actor/comedian/rabble-rouser Sacha Baron Cohen and "Wedding Crashers" actress Isla Fisher are postponing their nuptials until Fisher has had a chance to learn more about the Jewish faith:

it sounds kind of silly to me --just because she did not convert to the jewish faith he is putting off the marriage? and whocares what the in-laws think --she is not marrying them--i would run away, very fast from this one---my husband and both have different views on God and salvation-but it never shadows over us-everyone has their own way of praying --nobody should tell you how to worship
It is because of alot of faith believing jewish people will not marry unless their spouses convert to the jewish faith.
I do not like the anti-semitic undertones of this story or the comments made upon it. If there love is strong it doesn't matter what their background is - I am sure she has her own set of culteral pressures.
