Idol Chatter Summer Movie Trivia Question for this Week

posted by Kris Rasmussen | 1:30pm Wednesday July 30, 2008

I hear there’s some book about vampires coming out this week and just a few people are really excited about it. Me, I have never been able to understand the fuss over vampire lore, and the “Twilight” series is no exception (Please withhold the hate mail from the comment box!)
But at least I am trying to stay in the spirit of celebrating Donna Freitas’ Vampire Week with a vampire movie trivia question this week.

What two-time Oscar winner was originally supposed to play Lestat in “Interview with a Vampire”?
Leave your guesses in the comment box below and I’ll print the answer on Friday.

Well, Johnny Depp has been nominated twice, but he hasn’t won yet. He was approached to do the film but turned it down.

I am going to guess Daniel Day Lewis, and can we just TALK about how much better he would have been as Lestat?

Why did you say only a few people are excited about it? This is the biggest book since Harry Potter. I’m not being mean or anything I just thought it was an inaccurate statement.

I wasn’t being mean, or inaccurate, I was being ironic. :-)
