I agree with you Kris. people are taking this totally out of control. People that aren’t fathers with Sherri Shepard must first know that she is a comedian. Being of the black community I know that “laying hands” can a lot of times be used in a semi-joking manner. So give me a break with all the hostility. We all know theres a great many of people that need plain old “savin” because they just act mean to the core. Maybe Barbara Walters is one of those people. Most people don’t know her personally. And about the abortions, at no time did I hear that was something she was proud of. Also keep in mind this was a magazine article. You could not hear her tone or see her expression as things were said. Give her a break already.

Do you really think Barbara Walters required an apology? I doubt it! Producers worried about offending audiences and advertisers is more like it. Ms. Shepherd has a less than perfect past…Shock! Amazement! Ummmm who on that show doesn’t? That’s what makes the program interesting.

I think Sheri is a honest and humble person. She owns no apologizes to Barbara. Barbara is the biggest liar ever, I had respect for her until she disrespected and lied about Star and Donald Trump. I cannot bring myself to watch TheView at all anymore. Wait and see how dirty she and Bill Getty will be with Sheri.
