The sequel to the blockbuster hit, "Hellboy 2: The Golden Army" stars Selma Blair, Doug Jones, and Ron Perlman as the titular hero. Directed by "Pan's Labyrinth" director Guillermo Del Toro, the movie looks as artistic as it is thrilling.

I noted a definite “Green” message in the film - the idea that Man and his form of progress is “bad”, and murdering, Kung-Fu crackin’ elf princes are essentially “good” bad boys.

If the Elf Prince in the movie can be identified as a literal, Liberal tree hugger, then I find his sister’s act of killing him by killing herself of particular interest. If more Liberals would show us the light at the end of the tunnel (pun phrase) by exercising their right to choose while simultaneously and sympathetically dispatching their kindred in the process, we might all be able to take the Global Cooling/Warming/Cooling/Warming/[ad infinitum] scare as seriously as it deserves to be taken.

And I mean that in a good way.

Other than that, the movie was cool and sappy and v-e-r-y entertaining.
