John C. Reilly, Neil Patrick Harris, Jack Black, and others form a big-name cast performing "Hairspray" composer Marc Shaiman's new online video about the gay marriage ban recently passed in California. In the musical, two rival groups--conservative Christians (headed by Reilly) and gay rights activists face off on the controversial ban, when miraculously, Jesus appears (played by Black), and has some interesting things to say. Watch the video below.

the people who are in and created that video lack understanding. I pray that God would open their eyes.
I thought this was pretty clever and very funny. Marc Shaiman did such a great job with HAIRSPRAY that I may have gone into this a little biased. I was also leery when Jack Black showed up as Jesus, but I thought even that was not done distastefully. Bravo!
