Christians are supposed to see Jesus in everyone, but might not appreciate seeing everyone in Jesus. Or so say the iPhone gatekeepers at Apple. This week Apple rejected a new application that allowed users to crop a picture of their mug or a friend’s into one of several standard depictions of Jesus. The inventor of “Me So Holy,” Benjamin Kahle, complained his Jesus-ifying app didn’t violate published rules against violent or offensive, instead calling it “fun and positive.”

“Christians are supposed to see Jesus in everyone…” As a Christian, that is NOT one of our “supposed to’s”. But on to the topic. In my most humble opinion, I think it is in the poorest of taste by anyone — Christian or not, to use Christ’s image as well as HIs name in vain.

I AGREE ON THE ABOVE COMMENT.NOBODY’S PERFECT,I BELIEVE,THERE ARE 24 HRS A DAY,OUR MINDS ARE POLLUTED WITH DIFFERENT THINGS,AS A RESULT, EVEN THOSE NOT SUPPOSE TO THINK ABOUT OR THINGS THAT ARE OF NO SUBSTANCE WERE THOUGHT OF EVEN IF NOT USED TO.ONE DAY IS ENOUGH TO LEARN A SMALL MISTAKE AND THE REST OF OUR DAYS SHOULD BE SPENT ONLY WITH THINGS THAT ARE WITH IMPORTANCE AND SUBSTANCE.I AM ONE WHO DID THOUGHT OF A NON SENSE THING THAT I DON’T USED TO THINKING AND END UP HURT AND DOUBT TO MY BEST FRIEND WHOM I TRUSTED FOR A GOOD MORAL CHARACTER,I DON’T KNOW WHY AND HOW I HAVE GIVEN UP BAD THOUGHT AGAINST HIM,MAYBE I AM JUST THINKING TOO MUCH OR TIRED.I AM SORRY TO YOU MY FRIEND,I DIDN’T MEAN ANYTHING,IT’S NOT YOUR KIND,TRUST ME. I agree with decision to scrap this sinking of a picture of yourself or others on top of Jesus’ own face. We are ultimately God and He is among us already. Religion as of late has been speakable- what I mean is that we have actually been able to have a discussion about God and Jesus. I was really glad when my Husband talked me into getting the iPhone. It has the whole Bible, even translations and different books of the Bible for cross referencing, for downloading from the apps for free. We need to take this new found freedom of Religion slowly because of the problems that can arise from it. Also, it is He who keeps the beat not us to force it. ” Your will be done ” . Thank You to somebody who had the patience to actually edit this for Apple, and also brave enough to enforce this. Due respect to all the religions who already feel beat upon by society. It is time for society to re-learn it’s manners.
