Kate Gosselin: Not Sure if She Believes Jon

posted by dross | 4:32pm Thursday May 14, 2009

jonandkatehawaiipicic.jpgWow! Kate Gosselin drops a bombshell in the latest issue of People Magazine. After all that standing by her man stuff–blaming husband Jon’s bad behavior on an inability to deal with newfound celebrity–for the first time, the star of TLC’s hit reality show “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ opens up about her real feelings on whether Jon has cheated on her.
From People:

I don’t think I know if I believe him. I don’t think that I know the whole truth and to be very honest, I don’t think I ever will. My gut instinct says he’s mad that he got caught. There wasn’t a whole lot of thought that went into that behavior.

I do feel obliged to also mention that while some media outlets are reporting that Kate has also been cheating on Jon with her bodyguard, she has flatl out denied those claims, saying she’s “horrified” at the allegations. I have to say, I really do believe her. Although she may come across as snippy on the show, especially to Jon, she seems like a very smart, savvy, business woman. I just don’t think she’d be dumb enough to carry on an affair while in the public light as the successful star of a reality show. She’d leave that to her husband.

You think she’s too smart to carry on an affair while in the public light? Are you serious? Ted Haggard, Elliot Spitzer, John Edwards, Bill Clinton, Jimmy Swaggert, Jim Bakker. This is just a short list of public figures past and present who lied about their “indiscretions”.

I think it’s time for all of this to be done in the tabloids and even “People”. Let Jon and Kate work out this rough patch in their marriage by themselves and for heaven’s sake quit subjecting the children to their parents on magazine covers and websites every time they look around. I am praying for all the Gosselins and think that’s what they need to do — seek the Lord in prayer for answers about what’s spiraling out of control in their lives.

Jodi and Kevin are telling the truth. The marriage is a sham.
TLC, Figure 8 Films, and the Gosselins need to put an end to this show right now. Aren’t any of them thinking of the kids at all? Is the money really worth that much to them? Weren’t they happier before?
Shame on all of them!!

Well I watch the show and I was shocked at his adulterous behavior. How stupid can one be to get caught like he did. The fact that he took the other woman to HIS OWN HOME is unbelievable absolutely unbelievable. Did they sleep in their bed too?
He was my favorite and to tell you the truth, Kate treated him like crap. She was more than snippy. I do not know how he put up with it. Some shows that I watched her verbal abuse went way over the top. I prayed for the show where Jon would just flat out tell her off. Even though Kate treated him poorly this does not mean she deserved what he has done to her. She is a strong woman and I am sure she will rise above this. Any man that would allow his wife to verbally abuse him is weak. He allowed her to kick him to the curb more than once. But she is on top today.
I feel sorry for the kids because they will see all this on tape in years to come. They will see how she treated him, and how he was unfaithful. However they chose to star in a reality television show. They chose to be in the limelight for good or bad. We followed their life. You cant expect the public to just stop watching the saga and how it all plays out.
Hope they get it together but I doubt this will happen. He actss like he could give a hoot and she is just to proud to take him back. I wouldnt.
I think the show however will a goner.

This is definitely an unfortunate situation; however, we do not have all the facts and cannot play judge and jury. It seems it would be in the best interest of the children for them to stop taping the show and start working on their marriage. Is the fame/fortune worth losing your family over?
