This touching documentary–which won the 2009 Academy Award for Best Documentary Short Subject–follows a young Indian girl born with a cleft lip, and her journey to get an operation that will allow her to live a better life. The film premieres on HBO on June 3. Watch the trailer below.

This is inspiring however, I KNOW that medical students (Residents) have been doing this, as is the Provost, at George Washington University in DC for several years!
Everyone doing this SHOULD get together to coordinate to make it more effective and reach more children.
