The Speidi Prayer Heard ‘Round the World

posted by nsymmonds | 4:00pm Tuesday June 2, 2009

heidispencerpic.jpgHeidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have struck again. The conflicted couple of “The Hills” fame has taken their sideshow to the reality show about washed up celebrities, “I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.” Now I will be honest, I’ve never watched this show in my life, but I was intrigued when I heard that there was a full-throttle prayer given in Jesus’ name for disgraced former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich by none other than the dynamic duo.
As the back story goes, the cast members, most of whom are so caught up in maintaining their dwindling fame, didn’t know why Blagojevich was going on trial–sure they didn’t. But luckily, his wife Patti, who has been granted celebrity status by way of her husband’s missteps, was there to clear up any confusion and rid the cast of their ignorance. Well almost. She told half-truths, choosing to speak only about the good things her husband did while in office but not about the real reason why he was facing jail time. Now this initially made me sad me because Patti deceived them, but the recovery is that despite her deception, she got the two most oblivious people in the world to pray that the truth would be revealed.

As Heidi prayed for the Blagojevich family, I realized that her intercession, which she hopes will lead to Rod being victorious, will actually just release the truth that will prohibit him from being set free–in one way or another. There’s a scripture in the Bible that says God uses the foolish things of the world to confound the wise, and I believe this is the perfect example. I love that Heidi and Spencer think of themselves as pretty wise, and so does Patti for speaking her half-truths, but in the end, the truth will be revealed and justice will be served.
So I guess Speidi actually did something right for once, even if it was unknowingly.

How do you know Rob is quilty? Where you there or in the know? Government has been know to lie about people in the past so maybe they are lying about him too. The press blows everything way out of porportion anyway and this could be another case of it. In the end hopefully justice will prevail but, it is innocent till proven quilty not the other way around as the press would have you believe. Most cases are better solved with ones in the know than in the press.
