Part of my issue with Christian films or films that have Christian elements is that, in terms of quality, they’re almost always terrible. The preachy message part of the film trumps the story/acting/cinematography, leaving Christian audiences with lukewarm feel-good films that hardly even register on the movie-of-the-week quality scale.
Lionsgate’s latest feature film release, Warrior, however, is different. Set within the heart-pounding world of MMA, or mixed martial arts cage fighting, it actually looks good. Seriously! I’m no fan of mixed martial arts or anything, but I’m actually intrigued. It also stars Tom Hardy (Inception), Joel Edgerton (Legend of the Guardians) and Nick Nolte (who’s been in, like, everything), so the cast is nothing to laugh at either.
Lionsgate has also put together a nice Bible study guide to accompany the film. This would be perfect for youth groups, church small groups, and even Sunday sermons. If you’re having trouble seeing the guide below, you can find it by following this link.
Here are a few quotes from the director and screenwriter concerning the spiritual nature of the film.
“This movie was never about fighting. It’s about spiritual warfare, which may not be perceived by the eye but is a powerful reality in our lives nonetheless.” – Director Gavin O’Connor
“It was important to us to make a serious pro-marriage, pro-family movie. And therefore we don’t shy away from revealing the intense struggle of family life because that’s reality and also the key to growth.” – Screenwriter Anthony Tambakis
And be sure to watch the trailer!
And, be sure to check out the trailer as well!

mySingleparentmatch.com matched us and sent Ryan an email saying we were a 100% match, so he emailed me. He wasn’t too computer-savy, so he didn’t have any pictures, but after emailing a few times, he told me he was off to Las Vegas on vacation. Call it fate, but I also had planned a trip to Las Vegas that same week because my sister had to go out there for training… so we decided to get together while we were there. After playing phone tag all night long, we finally got together…

Over a year ago, I met “technician007″ through mySingleparentmatch.com. A year later, June 22,2010, we got married. We are both very happy, and very grateful to the site, because otherwise we would have never met. We were a 100% match, and the longer we dated, the more we realized we were meant to be! Thanks

Rich handsome men can fall in love with fat ugly women. It probably doesn’t happen often, however. We live in a society that places a great deal of emphasis on looks. Society tells us we should scorn and reject anyone who doesn’t fit a certain standard. So it takes very brave men and women to be able to look beyond a person’s exterior and get involved in a relationship with someone that the rest of society considers beneath them.On sugarbabymeet.c0m,you could found that everything is possible.Everyone can own love, It’s possible for a man to like a woman for who she is rather than for how she looks.
