Video Clip: Slave Trading Ancestors

In a new documentary, filmmaker Katrina Browne discovers that her ancestors in a prestigious New England family were the largest slave trading family in U.S. history. "Traces of the Trade: A Story from the Deep North," will air on the PBS show, P.O.V., on June 24 at 10 p.m. (check local listings).

In the film, Browne travels to Ghana and Cuba to recreate the journeys of her ancestors who brought more than 10,000 African slaves to the Americas. Watch the clip below.
