Listen to 'Unbreakable' by Fireflight

Due to the Writers' Strike, filming of new episodes of last fall's Bionic Woman was put on hiatus. However, now there's rumors that the show may cancelled, though NBC has yet to confim this. One thing is for sure though, Fireflight, the band responsible for the cool song, "Unbreakable" that was used in promos for the show, is enjoying a lot of success, both in the Christian market where they got their start, and also in the mainstream.

Click on the photo below to listen to "Unbreakable" from their album of the same name releasing March 4th.

Beliefnet Writer Wins Entertainment Journalism Award

We would like to extend a big congratulations to writer Sara Shereeb Bakhshian, who just won 2nd place in the LA Press Club's 1st Annual National Entertainment Journalism Awards for Best Online Feature Story. Bakhshian's piece, "Must-Believe TV," which covered religion and faith on last fall's CW lineup--specifically "Aliens in America" and "Reaper"--ran on Beliefnet last September. Of course, we's also like to take a moment to pat ourselves on the back for hiring such a wonderful writer.

Dog's Out of the Doghouse: 'Bounty Hunter' Returns

Dogicpic080219.jpgDuane "Dog" Chapman--who you either know as the cool guy who catches criminals with the rest of his family, on the hit A&E show "Dog the Bounty Hunter," or as that guy who was outed by the National Enquirer for spewing racial slurs in a tape-recorded conversation with his son, and then appeared on every TV show and radio station crying and begging for forgiveness--will be returning to the airwaves, TMZ.com is reporting.

Although A&E suspended Dog's show immediately after audio was made public of him saying the N-word in reference to his son's girlfriend, they seem to have bowed to pressure from the overwhelming support Dog has received in trying to get his show back--including groups on social networking sites, such as this one on Facebook, which has over 16,000 members.

Dog also made a good-faith effort to reach out to the African-American community and to various groups promoting racial equality. He even went as far as to kiss up to Rev. Al Sharpton (gag!).
