Gretchen Peters is a Grammy nominated singer/songwriter best known for penning the Martina McBride classic “Independence Day,” but her own records are just as powerful as that mega hit.  “Dark Angel,” featuring country crooner Rodney Crowell, is the first single off her upcoming album Hello Cruel World, and you can hear it here!  The haunting ballad touches on themes of heaven, loss, love, and ultimately, hope.
