I just wrote a piece on 5 Ways to Get Over It. It’s a few tips on moving on from a disappointment whether it’s relationship, career, or just general life.
The first way is to “feel the pain”. I listed it first, because it’s so odd that it’s the easiest step to bypass. I mentioned this in a previous blog. We spend so much time acting differently than how we really feel. When we’re hurt, instead of admitting that we’re hurt, we get angry.
And it’s not just men. I think a spirit of fierce independence, while sometimes necessary, has hardened women up a bit. Now, nobody wants to admit that some days you really just want a hug and a good cry.
So go ahead and let it out. Cry if you feel like crying. Scream if you need to scream. Feel the pain so you can heal the pain.

The “Let It Out” article was right on point. People need to externalize their frustrations and anxiety. If you continue to keep those ill feelings bottled up, you become a time bomb of epic proportions. About twice a year I find a secluded area in the woods and just scream and rant and empty my venom. Than I find a “happy place” and just meditate or write. May even read some inspiring words of wisdom from men greater than me.

You could not be more correct! People should really seriously follow this.

I liked the article on “Getting Over It”. I had built in anger in me before reading this article and just the first way gave me a lil piece of mind to feel my pain instead of hiding it. It only makes things worser.
