I’m a fan of Christine Arylo, but you already know this. I’ve featured her video once before: Christine Arylo on Learning to Love Yourself after Loss. I’ve also interviewed her further on the topic of self-love.

m in a very big dilemma..
i have been in a relationship for 4 yrs.. dis guy loves me more dan anythng in d world.. i really dnt have any idea to wat he wud be if i leave him… hez shatterd badly if i dnt talk to him for juz 1 week..
he has been alone always.. he doesn’t have a family support.. so i have tried being dat 4 him.. frankly speaking i hv never been in love.. rather i have taken him as a very gud frnd.. he is always ready to do anythng 4 me.. der hv been times wen he has spent his entire savings 4 fullfillng little needs of mine..
but der is another problem as well.. if after all dis i marry him my parents wud nvr agree 2 it coz our qualification has a great difference.. m pcs and he is businessman..
wat shud i do.. nobdy else in dis world cud love me more dan him..

Ever relationship I’ve ever had has ended with me in pain-I know it is fear that has caused me to cut myself off from everyone but it has been over 4 years and I am so lonely and sad but I just don’t know how to open myself up and take the chance again-it’s like I forgot how to meet anyone or what to say-I feel like my life is too boring to be interesting to anyone all I do is work and stay home-help

Angel, your heart is not in this relationship. You want it to be, but it is not. Build a friendship, it is way more important than a love you feel you have to do. I think sometimes, friends are way more valuable than lovers. Second, find and search for that love, it is out there, and maybe your friend can help you find this person. God Bless!
