Every two years, the best golfers from the United States take on the best golfers from the rest of the world (aka “The International Team”) in a four-day event called The Presidents Cup.

This year features an American team led by captain Fred Couples and notable players Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Steve Stricker. The internationals are led by captain Greg Norman and key golfers such as Luke Donald, Adam Scott and K.J. Choi.

Among those two rosters are a pair of Inspiring Athletes that have been featured in this column: U.S., player Webb Simpson and Australian star Aaron Baddeley (who was actually born in the States to Australian parent and holds dual citizenship).

This year’s Presidents Cup is being held in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia and kicks off tonight (Thursday in Australia). You can check out the previews and follow the action by visiting the PGA Tour’s official Presidents Cup site HERE.
