A article in the Washington Post by Deepak Chopra in response to their question: Jeremiah Wright’s sermons continue to be an issue in the presidential campaign. Why? What do you think of his preaching style? What do you wish you understood better about it?

The Higher Health, Part 3
America has reached a threshold that will permit us to cross over and reach a state of higher health. We have more than enough proof that prevention should be based on positive lifestyle changes. I agree with the concept of viewing Obama as both the light house
and the lightning rod. And, in comparing him to Lincoln’s dilemna.
This puts it into perspective for me. We truly need a leader who
will be able to cope with the divisions and egos in our country.
Thanks, Deepak!

The leader we need may not be the one we get. It’s sad.
I’m tired of hearing about this. The media can’t focus on issues that actually impact my life.
I think Barak’s effort to keep lobbyists out of his campaign is more sincere than anything I’ve seen in the Democratic Party in years. The gravy train that Washington D.C. provides to money and pork interests is far more outrageous than anything Barak’s pastor has said.
Barak was also way ahead on the learning curve pertaining to Iraq. He was against it from the beginning and risked his Senate campaign on the issue when Bush’s popularity was through the stratosphere.
In spite of all this we’re talking about Reverend Wright again.
Come on folks. Barak is half white.
Wake up!
