The Higher Health (Part 2)

You’re just a “mouthpiece” for Obamacare. I have NEVER had an “extraneous” test or procedure in my life. I suffer from multiple health issues – bipolar disorder, arthritis, sacroiliitis – for which I take $235/month’s worth of medications. To be fair, I’ve had hospital-related iatrogenic “dis-eases” – including hemmhoraging and acute pancreatitis – but am here to tell the story…I have EXCELLENT health care – Medicare and Federal Government Anthem BlueCross/BlueShield (the same coverage our Congressmen have), so no wonder they WON’T switch to the government offered health care reform. PLEASE get your facts straight – most of the “uninsured” are ILLEGAL aliens; you know; you came from abroad LEGALLY. I don’t see WHY we should offer “free” health care to people who come here and use up space in Emergency Rooms at the taxpayers’ expense. I WILL watch you on CNN tonight, so you better be prepared to answer some “hard-ball” questions.

Your concern about health care reform is NOT baseless. Your lifetime dedication towards health has finally sprung out. Your wisdom is unquestionable in all respects. The interview with CNN on August 19, 2009 reminds me of a lady who passed away three years ago. She had full health coverage till death at the age of 68 years but with all the lab tests and diagnostics available (you name it) was not diagnosed for liver cancer till suddenly she checked into in the Emergency Room for pain. There she was told that it is too late now for any treatment. In her life time every medical affiliated person and/or organization made a lot of money starting with doctor’s visit to the Hospice facility. Each and every word of your videos on Beliefnet and interview with CNN is very true. Thousands of people can relate to the same helpless situation they are faced with every day in the present health care system. The question arises for the un-insured who pay the doctor’s visit more than any of the HMO being paid and on top of that the un-insured pay for medicine more than any HMO pays for presciptions. Another question arises that WHY the un-insured normally not being referred to for the diagnostic tests of any kind. Most probably the un-insured cannot aford it. Which proves that PCP is directing traffic to the Specialists and/or Labs for a legitimate reasons of their fear of law suits or losing their license may be. Statics will also prove that the un-insured die with the natural causes instead of side effects of un-necessary prescribed medicines with un-known side effects. In the end I can say with confidence that the human beings are nothing but a data collection starting with doctor’s office to all the way to the Hospices. Don’t get me wrong the 20/80 rule applies here too. What I am referring to is the 80 percent people and prescriptions. It is also known as pill pusher of conventional medicine. Medical field is incomplete to-date and I can prove it by only referring to one question when anyone asks a doctor that where do you practice instead of asking someone what do you do for living. It is my personal way of thinking but I do want to go along with DEEPAK CHOPRA’s stern approach he has expressed himself being a doctor.
