Planet Earth

Dear Friends,On the 1 year anniversary of Michael’s death I would like to share with you a poem I co-wrote with him entitled “Planet Earth” which was published in his book “Dancing the Dream.” This poem is particularly prescient given the destruction of the eco-system.Love,Deepak 2010-06-24-dancingdreamMJc.jpgPlanet Earth, my home, my placeA capricious anomaly in the sea of spacePlanet Earth, are you justFloating by, a cloud of dustA minor globe about to bustA piece of metal bound to rustA speck of matter in a mindless voidA lonely spaceship, a large asteroid Cold as a rock without a hueHeld together with a bit of glueSomething tells me this isn’t trueYou are my sweetheart, soft and blueDo you care, have you a partIn the deepest emotions of my own heartTender with breezes, caressing and wholeAlive with music, haunting my soul. In my veins I’ve felt the mysteryOf corridors of time, books of historyLife songs of ages throbbing in my bloodHave danced the rhythm of the tide and floodYour misty clouds, your electric storm Were turbulent tempests in my own formI’ve licked the salt, the bitter, the sweetOf every encounter, of passion, of heatYour riotous color, your fragrance, your tasteHave thrilled my senses beyond all hasteIn your beauty I’ve known the howOf timeless bliss, this moment of now. Planet Earth, are you justFloating by, a cloud of dustA minor globe about to bustA piece of metal bound to rustA speck of matter in a mindless voidA lonely spaceship, a large asteroid Cold as a rock without a hueHeld together with a bit of glueSomething tells me this isn’t trueYou are my sweetheart, gentle and blueDo you care, have you a partIn the deepest emotions of my own heartTender with breezes, caressing and wholeAlive with music, haunting my soul. Planet Earth, gentle and blueWith all my heart, I love you.

Deepak, your interviews on Michael as well as articles transmit a duplicitous, condescending betrayal of his trust and innocent intent of heart in confiding in you. It is concerning that you and your children consistently claim affiliation and enjoy the attention, while simultaneously betraying his confidences, describing him with patronizing pity as if you are superior, and making catty, lower conscious remarks. Ego, pride and feigned superiority as a professional only appear sadly hollow as you grimace discussion the pathetic nature of Michael on tv repeatedly. Would you say those things to his face? The veiled repulsion and betrayal indicate a lack of true integrity, loyalty and sensitivity to a soul God sent you to trust you. If you embrace your cultures belief in the presence of souls in another dimension, watching and surrounding us, perhaps you will rise to a more integrity based respect of innocence and those who trusted you before the words come out of your mouth. It will be greatly rewarded on the other side. Speak only purity of those who trusted you. The ‘warnings’ are weakly shallow now, more for your own ego. God knows Michael and his heart, stop ‘warning’ people while really betraying and belittling him. It is beneath you.
