Can you tie your present multi-campus church ministry to the jazz metaphor? Does each campus play their unique instrument? Together, will the base camps make a Jazz band?

Robert…as I passed York and Colfax I smiled as last night we watched you turn a significant page in the Sacred Journey. Congratulations. While I look forward to next week and trying to see the Incarnation as Jazz, I did begin to see the syncopation, improvisation and call and response of the Last Supper. Jesus not only had IT, HE was IT.
As Niehbuhr turned the Leaves of a Notebook of a Tamed Cynic so we watched the miracle of the Internet turn binary into blog last evening. In any case, carry on and have a great day off. I hope and pray you are able to stream last night’s proceedings as Hugh (the theologian) preached so magnificently to the congregated church at Iliff and Chambers.

Mickey,
It’s amazing how God is preparing and planting seeds for our future when we have no awareness–I agree, “Jesus not only had IT, HE was IT.”
