I hope he does well. But one way to reduce abortion is to crimalize it. That reduces the supply side drastically and is the just thing to do, since fetuses are human beings with objective human rights. This is the biblical and logical teaching. President Obama, sadly, wants to lift all restrictions on abortion and to fund it through our taxes.
The demand side is significant as well: teach the realities of the rights of the unborn and challenge people to respect these rights by being virtuous people.
1. Be responsible with sex.
2. Honor every pregnancy–planned or unplanned–as the beginning of a unique human life.
3. Help unwed mothers keep their pregnancies.

Perhaps, with the dawn of the, so called, morning after pill the battle has forever shifted to a battle for the heart and mind. When unrighteousness becomes privatized laws become less and less effective.
