The shelves look surpisingly bare from what I would have pictured. Then again, maybe they're all down by your feet!
Nice job on the photos. Is this a glimps of things to come?
Dave,
My office at school does not house the books I use -- they are all at home. What's at school is basically stuff ready to be given away.
It is great to get a glimpse of you in "real life". I am in Ontario visiting and spent the evening with the pastor of my childhood church. He is reading "Turning to Jesus", so we had a nice long chat about you.
By the way, I see the poll has taken a turn again.
Peace,
Jamie

CAPTION:
As Scot McKnight reads about the historical formulations of the Trinity, he can only imagine the Trinity if he had been at the Councils: John, Paul, George and Ringo. Oops! That's a Quadrinity.
Let it Be! Great song for Advent. When the Angel visited Mary she said Let it be according to your word!
John, you must have heard of the Four Cappadocians-
(Basil, Gregory Theologian, Gregory of Nyssa-
and Macrina, Basil & G/Nyssa's big sister)!
Dana
It was the Four Cappadocians who articulated the Trinity, but I was contemplating Advent Season prayers.
On my office poster of the Beatles: I asked the Beatles to close their eyes -- but they said I was reading so they preferred to keep their eyes open with me. ha.
