Scott, I am a first time visitor and like your website. I agree with what you say, it is hard to know. But what we know is so important. I am reminded of that old hymn, Keep your eyes upon Jesus, look full into His wonderful face….What we know or don’t know becomes much less important then. Thanks! God Bless, Mike Clark

Scot, Thanks much for your thoughts here.
I’m afraid example of Christ is all but lost among evangelicals for a number of reasons. (docetic view of him watering down his humanity- so that we really can’t follow his example in that view).
And the recapitulation story in the Atonement of Jesus- as in following the pioneer trail he has set for us, seems little understood- and all but lost, if I judge by myself and what I’ve heard over the years.
