Good interview, Scot.
I have been thoroughly enjoying Professor Nassif’s podcast for a while now. Having the both of you together is such a pleasant surprise. I especially loved your discussion in regards to creeds and his comment and your response to the Nicene Creed. These types of discussions though it was brief are continued signs of the unity that is happening and needs to continue to happen within the Church.
Wonderful things are happening at North Park with the whole Biblical and Theological department, privileged to have been apart of it.
Professor Nassif mentioned the three books that you two would be touching on. Your book Praying With The Church seemed to weave it’s way through this discussion yet he didn’t mention it. Will you be touching on it next week?
Mook-er,
Well, I don't remember if it is or not but I think it does come up.
Isn't Brad a good brother!
Thank-you for drawing these audio files to my attention. I particularly appreciated the first session in which discusses survival as an academic follower of Christ in the 'common work world' and the inspiration which this provides for his understanding of his vocation.
Scot,
I have enjoyed many of the pod casts on Ancient Faith radio. I love receiving the Orthodox prospective on theology. It never fails to stretch my thinking. I have been enjoying your blog for a year or more now. I also pray with Phillis Tinkle every day, which is something I learned from your book, Praying with the Church. I believe you are really making a difference in the Church of the 21th century.
