Hey Scot – I am so sorry I was unable to be there this Friday eventhough I was sure I was able to go. Unfortunately I had an obligation that I could not get out of and had to put the Delaware trip aside. I hope if/when you are able to come back on the east coast, I will be able to hang out with you. Apparently Todd made a copy of the message you gave so I hope to hear it when he is able to pass it on. Gary said he really enjoyed the day. Anyway… I hope you are blessed. Thanks for writing from the heart and for challenging me like you did in my reading of Galatians. It has truly been a blessing to read Galatians in new eyes. – TD Miekley

Yes your blog is having an influence. Thanks Scot. I’m a new reader and really liking the conversation and thoughts you create.

Scot,
It was great being able to connect with you and Kris. I have part one of the interview posted now and will post the other parts later this week. After I finish the third one, I will make a series out of it in one blog post.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and beliefs on the gospel, atonement and the emergent movement. I am thankful there is a place for a guy doing business differently. I guess I am a missional coffee guy… We will see how far these legs can carry me…

Scot,
You say you addressed “the themes of Embracing Grace and how we can convert our churches and small groups into missional groups.”
I enjoyed the book and did it with a group, but would love to hear your connecting thoughts from the book into missional groups.

David,
The extension of Jesus Creed and Embracing Grace into missional groups was the subject of my Willow GroupLife conference talk. I borrowed from that talk for the connections.

Scot,
This seems like a good place to say, again, that this blog is indeed very influential for many brothers and sisters around the globe. I praise God for his matchless grace, praise the Holy Spirit for his connecting power, and praise Jesus for the Jesus Creed…and using your “pen” as channel of blessing to his Body–both “virtual” and “local”–in so many and varied ways.
Blessings to you and Kris,
