Scot,
It was great to have you with us. We were blessed. Our church is definitely like the one in Berea. We take nothing for granted or at face value. Your style of provoking us to consider a gospel that is bolder than the conventional gospel was right on target for our community. We will definitely have to have you back.
Blessings,
George

Dr Scot McKnight,
?Yo Scot!? The weekend was thought provoking. Particularly, the discussion about the “conventional” -vs- “robust” gospel. I felt my mind and heart shifting to the Truer message of Jesus and epistles. I am struck though with the ?how to dos?of such a paradigm shift. I will take into account the 5 L?s (look, learn, listen, local, & link) however I shift best through relationships. So for me to move from simply understanding the robust gospel to embodying it, I need relationship. I need to hear someone who is walking in that way. I need a living, breathing?person that I can walk alongside. Is there someone you know of in the Chicago area?a pastor, former student, congregate, associate, friend, whoever who may be willing to meet with me? In the meanwhile, I will read more (probably your books first) but please let me know if you have someone in mind.
