Thank you, Scot!
I have served the Evangelical Free Church of Libertyville since July of 1994, as Pastor of Adult Ministries with other added responsibilities throughout the years. It is hard to fathom the years, the shared experiences, the relationships, and the gracious work of God among us over these past 13 years. The church has been a gift and a blessing to me and my family in allowing us to serve and also to grow. I have sought to follow the mandate of Jesus, who teaches us to be a servant and follow his example of providing servant leadership in a church (Mark 10:45). The church has allowed me the grace to grow and develop in pastoral ministry. I have so many memories that I will cherish regarding our relationship.
We are excited to move forward with our ministry at Ridgewood Baptist Church. I will be serving as senior pastor and look forward to building another wonderful relationship with the church family at Ridgewood. We have experienced God?s clear direction as we move to this new ministry.
Scot, while we will be just over an hour away, we expect to continue our friendship (hard to beat being neighbors!). Thanks for all the prayers, encouragement and friendship for all these years. I look forward to more.
Your student, friend, neighbor, pastor, golf buddy,
Kent

Congratulations, Kent! I’m excited for your move and this new chapter in your ministry. You were such a blessing to me while at Trinity and interning at LEFC, and I have no doubt the folks at Ridgewood will benefit from your wisdom and shephard’s heart. Blessings,
Skye
