Scot – The link for Karen’s post is broken. Do you mean this one? http://spearszacharias.bravejournal.com/entry/25237

Scot – I wouldn’t normally ask, but I posted an article I wrote to Parents of Teens after finishing 15 years in youth ministry and moving to an adult role. It’s my Top 10 List to Parents of Teens. http://wakebird.blogspot.com/2008/01/my-top-10-list-to-parents-of-teens.html
Feel free to check it out. I love your blog. I feel like Marko about it. It’s always good, but I don’t always have time to read everything. It keeps my brain sharp.

Thanks, RJS. (This is Kris.) Scot is gone today, and so I removed Karen’s link for this week. I don’t know how to fix it.

Thanks for the link.
As to the NYT article, that will take same digestion. But just remember, numbers are our friends. They tell us stories. There is an entire book devoted to them in the OT.

Michael,
Numbers are our friends – and the real fun is finding the equation or theory that explains them…

Michael Kruse’s review of “Pagan Christianity” (George Barna/Frank Viola) is among the best. Others can be found over at http://www.ptmin.org/answers.htm along with Q and A on the book.

It is 8 below in Milwaukee right now (colder with the wind chill). Please pray with us that the homeless find warmth and shelter tonight. Thanks.

Hey Scot,
Thanks for the plug! I’d love it if you devoted a blog next week to your experience this weekend in Minneapolis with postmodernism and reading the Bible.
Best to you, my friend.

CA Dan,
I don’t dare give away too many of my main ideas for fear it will be old news when the book comes out, but I tried out some of them yesterday. I’ll do something on the blog Monday about the event and focus on what is not focused on in the book — pomo generation readers seeing the Bible differently.
