I had a wonderful time watching my beloved Packers make sure the Bears (last weekend) didn't see the powdery line.
Ouch! Looks like its going to be a cold winter in Chicago...
hahaha i love it...even bears fans are turning against them!
Thanks for the good laugh, Scot - I've been working the budget cuts for our college today. Hard work and needed a good laugh.
Scot, Scot, Scot,
I always thought you were one of those Christian writers who err on the side of hope. Why you so down man? Bear Down!
David (#5),
Scot, had erred on the side of hope. He was expecting the Cubs to win the World Series. His hope died early. And now...let's just say it's going to be a long, dark, cold winter.
Being from Kansas City and weekly subjected to the Chiefs, I'm finding it hard to get too worked up about the Bears woes. :)
Michael,
From SE Michigan - likewise.
This is wonderful! :)
Now that is funny, made my day
On my computer, the comments start at #6. Does that mean the first 5 were too rude to post?
Scott Eaton (#6): So you are from where and your favorite team is...?
Tony (#2): I'm glad you said that because I originally came to this blog to round up prayers for the homeless here in the Midwest. Tonight it will dip to 20 deg in Chicago and Milwaukee, and down to 7 degrees in Minneapolis.
Father God:
Please, please look after these children of yours who are now caught in a terrible situation. Provide them practically and even miraculously with shelter, warmth, and food in the coming days. Let them know in their hearts that you love them and that we love them in your name. Give us the conviction to serve those in need in the name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Messiah...
Amen
ouch. it's gonna be a long, cold winter for the Bears.
Not only that....My Blazers destroyed the Bulls last night...
MORE BREAKING NEWS....
Detroit Lions players were called into the locker room. An unidentified man who looked a lot like the ghost of Vince Lombardi held up a pigskin and shouted, "This is a football."
The Lions team were in shock, many saying that they had never seen anything like that in their careers.
The Redskins have the same problem.
I remain a Seahawks fan, even though we seem stricken with the same malady as the Bears!
If you are not from Michigan you have nothing to complain about.
Funny, I just heard this story last week about the Washington Husky Football team. Must be some kind of sinister plot going around.
I'm a little late on this post...but...Milwaukee news channel 6 declared that the opening for deer hunting in Wi. was mistakenly taken for bear.
Not that it will make you Chicago folks feel any better, a bit south of you today the "Old Oaken Bucket" game will determine whether the Boilermakers or the dreaded Hoosiers take sole possession of LAST place in the Big 10. Sad season end for a team whose sacred duty is to demonstrate to our South Bend friends that "Touchdown Jesus" is bad theology.
