That can’t be Texas – its green.

I first committed my life to following Jesus in a field in at Laity Lodge. I was 12. It was perfect.
I went on to spend about 8 summers there, or so.
I know that spot on the rock well. Many, many trips there as I grew up in Austin. That is a beautiful section of Texas, and that river is fantastic to swim in- so COLD, yet wonderful.
Glad you got to enjoy it. Great place. Everyone should go there
(And one of my best friends was there this weekend with another group and had no idea you were there. She’s pretty disappointed; they’re big fans of your work.)
Grace and peace-

Scot -
Great that you had a good time at Laity Lodge. Mark is a good friend whom I know from his pastoral days at Hollywood Presbyterian and through his excellent blog – markdroberts.com. I actually found you through his link to your blog, so for that as well, I am grateful.

We had a great time. Beautiful place! We enjoyed Laity Lodge. It was a wonderful experience. Place to gather and worship the Lord, enjoy the family, and nature.
Thank you Ann, Jack and Laura

You were a breath of fresh air for those of us attending the retreat. Thought provoking talks and new Hebrew words to add to our vocabulary! Thanks for helping me return to my Jewish roots. It was a personally very meaningful topic.

We are hoping to keep this as a Sacred Secret Place…..
