Doesn't look like much of a faster to me...
He is so cute...and there's something Scot McKnight-like about his grin!
You need to add Aksel to your endorsement blurbs for the book. This picture on the book wouldn't hurt sales either.
The Aksel blurb...
My grandpa, Scot, wrote this book. I like the way it feels. I like the color. But as for fasting, it's not my thing right now. You, however, take up and read. --Aksel McKnight, Professor of Cuteness
Scot, you may not remember this, but a number of months ago you spoke at an "Equip" conference for Orchard Grove Church in the lovely Walled Lake, Michigan area (Pastor Chris Cramer). You were speaking on the subject of fasting, and I mentioned that I half-remembered a passage in 1 Cor, which said that husbands & wives might want to abstain from fellowship for brief periods of time so that they might seek God through prayer & fasting. Turns out, that's 1 Cor 5:7, and mostly the KJV & various modernizations of the KJV that translate it that way. The NIV just has prayer without the fasting. I don't know Greek, and I don't see any note about MS variance, so I'm not sure why. I saw this post on the fasting book, and it jogged my memory.
