Prayer for the Week

O God, you have prepared for those who love you such good things as surpass our understanding: Pour into our hearts such love towards you, that we, loving you in all things and above all things, may obtain your promises, which exceed all that we can desire; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

It is true, we can't understand why the Lord loves us so much but we just need to know that He does love us beyond our understanding and wants us to be happy and healthy, both physically and spiritually in this life. He wants all good things for us. And all the sickness, death of our loved ones, ect...that we all have to face in this life sooner or later, all works together for good to glorify the Lord somehow and we must find comfort and peace from knowing that in our times of need. He is there for us always and He will never leave us because His love is so great for us and will get us through anything no matter how big or small.
