No kidding. One of our kind readers found my Fasting book on top of The American Patriot's Bible and rescued it (my book). Surely there are some parables or illustrations of deep truths here. Anyone have one?

Fasting as a response to a grievous sacred moment.
There is a lesson here.
(elevation of American Patriotism as mission of God does strike me as a grievous sacred moment.)
Fasting is much easier when you've completely lost your appetite over the Patriot Bible.
Is that George Washington kneeling, fasting, and praying on the cover?
Actually, somebody probably covered up the Patriot Bible with your book. I've done that before. Looking for "How to become a millionaire God's way"? Well, first you'll have to go through Augustine's Confessions.
