sounds like a great time. i have two questions though… 1. what was the name of the final song? 2. do you have any plans to maybe start a podcast where you could post the messages of your speaking engagements?

I’m not sure of the name. Maybe “Give Me Your Eyes.”

Scot, I would love to see all your messages in one place. Possibly a podcast or website. Maybe one of you more tech savvy “fans” could do something like this. I know that is how NT Wright’s stuff is all in one place. Any takers? Or, Scot, do you have any thoughts?
Thanks,
John

Yes, I attended both series and was both: 1. entertained and 2. moved & motivated by the series. I regret not buying the book on my way out, but I am sure it will be available still this Sunday. Although my contribution to the world pales in comparison to the student who decided to forgo a phd from Duke in order to stay in Chicago to help the poor (was explained in the 2nd series), I am trying harder to be conscientious about the Jesus Creed day to day. I am glad to have heard a message that further reinforces Jesus’ message. I don’t think we can ever hear it enough…

dj,
“Give Me Your Eyes” by Brandon Heath.

As one who was there for both messages (I came just to hear Scot), I can say it was fantastic.
I love seeing a crowd that size get a dose of a gospel that is bigger than “my personal salvation.” I’m sure Andy has already been leading his congregation in a holistic direction, as evidenced by Intersect and the ways North Point makes it easy for people to get involved in repairing the world.
Great job, Scot.

I really enjoyed both messages as well. You can watch or download them at the link above. My wife and I are really challenged and motivated to live out the Jesus Creed with our neighbors and my soccer team. It can get messy, but God sure has loved us through our mess. Thank you Scot!

Thanks again for the mention! I owe you some biscuits and gravy.

Scot,
I was there for the second message. This is the first sermon/teaching I have heard you do and only mine & my husband’s second visit to Buckhead Church. It is a complete understatement to say that the message was challenging, convicting and moving. Thank you for speaking on this subject. I’m looking forward to reading your book. The story you read about the nurse…wow! I had to keep myself from sobbing until we got n the car. That is what true religion looks like. Thanks again for sharing.
God bless,
Emily
