Colts, unless there is rain and the field is soft, then Saints. Freeney not playing would be a definite plus for the Saints, too.

Geaux Saints!

Colts. It will be close. The reality is, the Saints have lost games while playing all of their starters and the Colts have not. If Reggie Bush plays like he did against the Cardinals the Colts will have to worry but I think we can trust in blue to get the job done.

Colts 31, Saints 27
Manning drive in the last 2:00 for the win.

Saints. Only factor is that I’d rather the Saints win. Totally a heart prediction. (Head is not on the same page.) It’s for my New Orleanian wife, my in-laws, a few friends and all the good people of my next door neighbor that is Louisiana. This life-long Cowboys fan is on the bandwagon for the weekend. I’ve even started saying “Who’s that? Who’s that?”
(Yeah, I know. I’m not gonna go TOO far on the Kool Aid.)
We’re making the drive down next weekend for Mardi Gras. Several Saints are part of the parades and it would be nice for them to roll as winners.

Colts, because God hateth sectarianism and fake sainthood. How could he allow victory to people who call themselves Saints but who won’t invite the rest of the league to be Saints???
Oh wait, Habakkuk says shut up and watch.
But Colts are young, and unless we become like little children, we’ll never see the kingdom of heaven. So Colts win, but it’ll be close — no one wants the Saints to look too bad.

The factor: Saints blitz schemes and ability to get to Peyton Manning and rough him up like they did Kurt Warner and Brett Favre.
IF that factor goes towards the Saints (roughing Manning up), Saints win.
IF that factor goes towards the Colts (no pressure on Manning), Colts win.
Colts is my gut (but not preferred) pick.

Saints, of course, shouldn’t we “Saints” back the Saints! Besides the GM, Mickey Loomis, is a former classmate at my college alma mater — Northwest Christian College (now University).
Besides, wouldn’t it be great to see the old Ain’ts win this thing! You know that Peyton really wants this for his dad.

Colts 35, Saints 28.
Reason: Colts QB & improved defense. Saints are good, game could be closer.

Colts, but I’ll probably pull for the Saints.

And it shall come to pass on that great day of the Sabbath feasting that the Saints shall overcometh the Colts.

Saints win barely. (Though, I wonder if this will be one more game when Payton Manning pulls the Colts through)

This Bears fan says, Colts, and it won’t be close.
Why?
1. Colts defense much better than people think.
2. Saints defense has no chance against Colts. After giving up 475 yds to Vikings, what will Peyton Manning do to them?
3. Saints good emotional story, Colts simply take care of business.

Saints. Probably not as skilled as the Colts. They are looooong hungry for their first ever SB win.
The really big question is who should Archie Manning cheer for?

See the link below for the analysis of why the Saints will win (or at least cover the spread).

My personal prediction: Saints 41 – Colts 35

Who cares? It’s merely an American game that nobody else in the world watches.
