Pat Robertson blasts SNL over Jesus, Tebow skit!
Hmm. SNL has poked fun with Jesus before…
Chances are, Pat wouldn’t have said anything about this skit had it not been poking fun at Tebow… SNL has used “Jesus” in skits many many times.
There seems to be a double standard among some Christians when the religious sati

And, how is a clear reference to the Apostles Creed and singing the Lord’s Prayer all that bad? (Those that sing, pray twice.)
This wouldn’t have excited me as a kid. I was more excited by Bach chorale preludes on the organ. I don’t pretend to be normal.

Bob, you may have not been normal but you were not alone. I discovered Bach via “Switched on Bach” in high school. I also had Virgil Fox’s “Heavy Organ” (on 8 track). I am a frustrated keyboard player and Bach just blew me away.
Oh, and PDQ Bach, a parody based on Bach’s fictional last and forgotten son, is worth a listen. I saw the show live in college and have the biography of PDQ Bach here somewhere. I think one of the albums was called “The Wurst of PDQ Bach”. You have to love Bach to get a lot of the jokes.

Why do people make these things? Does anyone really watch them -other than as a joke? This kind of thing reminds me of the Christian neighbors on “The Simpsons”. In fact the writers probably got a lot of their material for that from stupid videos like this.

Wait, did those kids actually just recite the gospel from 1Cor. 15? Because this is NOTHING like the Catholic School that I grew up in! I mean, the one girl has a Mary on her T-shirt, but is her name even Mary? If this were real, all the girls would be named Mary, right?

It is small “c” catholic.

Small ‘c’, and one the fundamental lines of the Nicene Creed. Kind of important.

Crop circle, I say crop circle…

Using Ockham’s Razor which roughly means that the simplest answer is most likely to be correct, the circles were obviously drawn by Roman Catholic space aliens!! Call the National Enquirer! Quick!
