Elias and I are home in Maryland for a few days. Our flying home was a surprise for my parents. On Saturday night, my three sisters and I threw Mom and Dad a 50th Wedding Anniversary party. It was pretty amazing.
Lots of stories.
Lots of old people.
Lots of laughter.
Mom and Dad renewed their vows and then we had cake…
Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad!

Sounds like a great time. Can’t wait to love for that long and hard.
I am in Baltimore, didn’t know you were a MD boy!

How awesome! I remember my grandparents’ 50th anniversary. Definitely one of the most awesome things I’ve ever witnessed. So much of what I learned about love and marriage, I learned from them.
Give your parents a big hug from me! Congrats to them!

That’s cool man. I know you admire your dad from the way you talked about him in “Churched.”

Your parents look great! They must’ve been kids when they married!

You look A LOT like your mom. Not a bad thing. I can just really tell that you’re her kid. And 50 years is a looong time. My folks are on 38. So crazy.
