Yes, the Baby Jesus already has the wounds of the cross…apparently because Thomas needed to see the wounds to know it was the REAL baby Jesus… O_o

Yeah, I get the symbolism as well. He was born to die for us. That said…is this really necessary? I think it might upset more than a few little ones.

Mary/Joseph is blocking the rest of the wall or you would see those marks are on the wall to show Jesus’ height through the years.
