Back...
I'm back here at JWalking after a bit of time because I just want someplace to record thoughts from time to time. I doubt that many of the thoughts will be political - there are plenty upon plenty of people offering their opinions on everything political and I doubt that I have much to add that will

Learning to tell a story
For the last ten months or so I've been engaged in a completely different world - the world of screenwriting. Jesus said that his kingdom was not of this world. Yet, to look at evangelicals’ political involvement and sometimes even their ministries, you would wonder. Huge posh church campuses and Tony Robbins style preaching would leave the unitiated scratching their head wondering about the connection to Jesus’ teaching. Then you throw in outrageous remarks by Falwell and Robertson and those outside the evangelical subculture are sure that we are misguided whackos.Too bad that we (followers of Christ) have allowed good words like evangelical, church, and Christian to become bad words. The Bible speaks about judgment beginning at the house of God.
