I'm back here at JWalking after a bit of time because I just want someplace to record thoughts from time to time. I doubt that many of the thoughts will be political - there are plenty upon plenty of people offering their opinions on everything political and I doubt that I have much to add that will

I have, I think, just one more round of chemo left.
When I go through my pill popping regimen tomorrow morning it will be the last time for this particular round of drugs. Twenty-three rounds, it seems, is enough.

The odd thing for me is that despite the image of N.O. as lewd and wild it is really a strict religious city. After Mardi Gras it is to the business of Lent. The tourists that go there are the ones who are the most lewd. In the neighborhoods around the city people are out in the street, cooking, listening to music it is a big block party- not one person pulls up their shirt. So the idea we should abandon them because of their sin is not right. Also I don’t think anyone should be abandoned- otherwise we would all be on our own.
