Dancing... or drinking through life

Back...
I'm back here at JWalking after a bit of time because I just want someplace to record thoughts from time to time. A friend once pointed out that success teaches us almost nothing and that our failures, our mistakes and the difficult moments of life teach us everything. He added that the only lesson to be learned is compassion. We fear failure so much we either begin to cheat a bit in life or we go into denial and untruth or we melt – sure that our humanity is defined only by the right school, the right career, the right house etc. etc. Jesus tell us to quit worrying, to love one another and to take the planks out of our eye before we judge another. We idolize success – when God calls us to relationship. Only thing that matters is our ability to care for one another and thus reflect God;s love back on the world.

Success teaches us that the individual who succeeds usually does what is right from the very earliest stages of life to making the most important decisions in life. Usually these people are hated by socialists. Something to never forget.
