The unspeakable

...and the unconscionable and the unknowable have happened at Virginia Tech...and I have no wisdom. Perhaps that is because there is none to be had. All we know are intermittent facts about what happened today. In a year's time we will look back and see what really happened. Our faith is the same. We know a basic fact - God - and we know a basic truth about him - love. In eternity's time we will look back and see what really happened. Now though there is mourning and anger and confusion and shock and uncertainty and countless questions. Eventually we will work our way up to mystery and there we will have to dwell.
