I'm back here at JWalking after a bit of time because I just want someplace to record thoughts from time to time. I doubt that many of the thoughts will be political - there are plenty upon plenty of people offering their opinions on everything political and I doubt that I have much to add that will

I have, I think, just one more round of chemo left.
When I go through my pill popping regimen tomorrow morning it will be the last time for this particular round of drugs. Twenty-three rounds, it seems, is enough.

I’m glad somebody actually asked this, Nan. To say our culture has a backwards perspective about death is a major understatement.

When I heard of Jerry Falwell’s death, I went from sadness to elation for this man in about three-seconds. He is now present with the Lord Jesus. He stayed on the right path. My sadness is for his enemies that will be in eternity in an altogether different condition.

I agree, Tom. Maybe if our culture didn’t overvalue longevity such, more people would live “Christ-like” lives earlier.
