Well, until the last paragraph I was going to leave a comment saying these are questions that should be asked of all the candidates. Now I’m leaving a lamer comment, to wit- do we have to ask Gravel? He’s scary.

Gravel is an old guy who literally made a lot of Congress find a conscience during the Viet Nam War. Now he just looks a bit crazy, but he isn’t really. He just doesn’t lie and that scares us all.

Never trust a politician who doesn’t lie, Thinker.

I heard/saw Gravel for the first time on Jon Stewart’s show yesterday, and instead of finding him “scary”, I found him to be a breath of fresh air. He made an eloquent comparison of the Vietnam war and the Iraq war. He defended homosexual Americans. Spoke about health care. What’s so “scary” about that?
