Welcome to old-fashioned politics. Ok, my thoughts:
- McCain did it. His late wins in California and Missouri are huge. He is on his way to the nomination. But the fight is far from over and it will get a lot bloodier.
- Hello Huckabee. While conservative commentators were out whacking McCain and urging conservatives to vote for Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee was strumming his bass across the south and walked away with huge wins across the south. One is left to wonder what would have happened if they had coalesced behind Huckabee very early in the race.
- Evangelicals continue to declare independence from the old religious right. Remember it was the evangelical and conservative political leadership that declared Huckabee "too liberal" on taxes, ending torture, spending on welfare programs, and on foreign policy. They labeled him as too theologically liberal as well.
- The Democratic primary season is just getting started. Obama and Clinton will come out of today with very similar delegate counts. That means, in reality, they are just getting started. Conventional wisdom seems to be saying that Obama is creating a movement and that movement is building and building and the more people see him the more they like him. If true, that bodes well for him. But Hillary Clinton is inspiring more passion among Democratic voters than she is being given credit for. Her wins tonight would not be possible without real enthusiasm among her voters. That isn't going to disappear.

Obama has launched himself from near total obscurity to serious contender for the presidency in record time and he has overseen the organization that did it. That is an immensely impressive feat of organizational and managerial skill.
You assume, without evidence, that it's all his own doing. He's getting an awful lot of help from conservative, mostly Red State, Democratic organizations and officials who fear a November election with Hillary as nominee. An unwise misassessment, in my opinion, but understandable in that Hillary winning means their internalized conservatism and weakness will lose legitimacy and justification.

Please provide a cogent, thoughtful post on the horrible things that Obama represents. BTW, when Huckabee was doing his best George Wallace impression in S.C. talking about the confederate flag, was that Christ-like?

Sacficifing your children by killing them, so your life will be better, AND, the sexual depravity of the world in which Obama claims to have worked to make better, show his way of life as evil. What Liberals and Progressives actually DO, is more akin to Molech worship than what the Apostles encouraged believers to "do."
He willing supports AND encourages abortion and sexual perversion. He opposes the words of Christ Jesus and the Apostles that brought us "The faith delivered only once to the saints."
You may be ignorant of what a Christian should "do," but only because of Obama's Humanist perspective and social stances devaluing and disregarding a morality that would truly better the lives of those suffering and dying in his inner-cities.
Obama's politics are an immoral Robin Hood perversion as well. The Democrats desire to enslave the hard-working honest familes of America and take their money by force. Marxist socialism is not a good thing, nor is Humanism, and yet the Democrats represent these belief systems in actuality.
He wants to "talk" with people that have proven for over a thousand-years that they do not care about others rights to reject Islam. Never forget that an education is nothing more than passing tests, when you enter the edcuation system corrupted and to corrupt others. Look at the inventor of the Kwanzza that Obama and his Church follow. It is absolutley pure racism. And yet, Obama is cheered for his behaviors.
In Obama's political morality, children are taken away from their parents as soon as they enter the school system and are indoctrinated into a perverse world where history and morality are altered to create a Humanist society. It is a fact that children must be taught that homosexuality and sexual promiscuity is a good thing and that any disagreement with that is hate and intolerance. This kind of sick immorality has already killed millions and millions of innocent AND guilty people. Yet the liars of Leftist rants claim to be against the death penalty. Parents are stripped of their parental rights by the reprobates that purposely attack everything that is not designed to perpetuate humainsm. I wouldn't care so much if Liberal-Progressives wanted to destroy their own children, that's their perverse right I suppose, but they should be opposed with equal force by parents that love their children in ways that do not support this secularism that is worshipped by every Democrat Liberal progressive in this country.
Mike Huckabee stood for "State rights" on the rebel flag issue. I never understood why a loser's flag would be held to respect anyway, but I can understand Huckabee's stance for free speech and the constitution of America actually being applied. You know, the way the Leftists do to support other horrible things. Leftists use the same reasoning to promote pornography and sodomy to children. So, I'm OK with kicking out Southern rebels and Liberals in one fell swoop. But it should be done state to state, not by Progressive rule uber alles. Hollywood, which is sending millions and millions of dollars to Obama literally was built on porn and sodomy morality, but I'm thinking you'll turn a blind eye to that in the voting booth. If you want to get rid of the First Amendment to be able to rid the country of Liberalism and racism . . ., I am with you there. We could do away with things like racist Kwanzaa as a "hoilday" and get rid of the Gay Agenda in one great moment in history. The First Amendment is not my God, it's the god of the Left. Curbing perversion isn't a bad idea to those of us "on the right."
It is Christ-like to allow people to choose to reject Christ if that is what they desire. I also cannot understand why Christians waste their time on Liberals, Progressives and thoose of the rainbow flag cult.
Jesus (literally the Christ-like guy) said you will know His followers by their fruits. I'm thinking slaughtered children for convenience and sexual depravity are not good fruits. How 'bout you?
Oh but . . ., you Leftists say we should "tolerate" diversity. I'll remember that, the next time I hear about a pregnant twelve-year old inner-city child (by a man with seven other children from severn other "females," as they say in the inner-city), or, as I pass by the young male prostitutes outside the gay bars in any big city I'm driving through.

For two-decades I have heard that voice. I work with the shattered lives of shattered children discarded and abandoned by the "way of life" championed by Progressives and Liberals. Literally cemented into life by Democrat legislation. I am hearing - though I don't like the tiny salary of the field- to continue working with children whose lascivious licentious parents (the word is used ONLY biologically), that have followed the fruits of Humanism, that is the foundation of everything Liberal and Progressive.
It was in the study of history and the working with real people in the real world, that has brought me to my conclusiions of the inherent evil of "The Left." If you'll study, honestly, you will see the Humanist Manifesto of a group of atheist elitist's driving the agenda of Liberal/Progressive politics.
"IF," a person claims to be a Christian, and imbibes the Humanist culture, that needs to be illuminated. That is what Love is. People are dying in the millions because of what Liberals believe in and force on people. Children don't have a choice. You seem quite intelligent, and yet you give worth and credence to a social system: Liberalism, Progressive ideology and humanism, that is as corrupt and degenerate as any in the ancient world of pagan abominations.
The study of Molech worship, Pederasty, hedonism, and the love of lust, and you see the current world created by Liberal, Progressive and Humanist endeavors. Start with abortion. It is vastly more used for the betterment of the parents, that the child dies. That it is "sacrificed" for the Liberal agenda of death to inconvenient children. Now we are at point in our history, where, yet again, same-gender sex is coming into vogue. It, is not the main reason of degeneracy controlling a society, but it is one of the final phases of the death of that culture and civilization that embraces insanity as a reasonable choice. Hig taxes are the sign of a decadent and corrupt leadership that has no ability to maintain decent moral growth of its populace. Taxes are literally slavery and extortion.
Thinker, those incredibly bad things are championed by Liberals, Progressives and Democrats. The Democrat way of life is now completely Humanist through and through. Because, byt their fruits you do know them.
Why is that unseemly or un-Christian to speak the truth?
I am truly sorrowful that apparently nice people embrace and literally imbibe in such corruption. I work with the children, the results of that corruption, and probably will for the rest of my working life. As Democrats seize more rule over a willing populace, the fallout will always be the orphans. In Sodom, it was the widows "and" the orphans, but the Weaternized world, that Liberal and Progressive Americans are embracing, make a better life for the woman, but shatters the lives of the offspring of their unrestrained immorality.
Isn't it interesting Thinker, that "feminism" (a Liberal social victory) has made it so easy for "men" to be so incredibly promiscous and never having to be really held to a moral accountability? Typical example of the convoluted ethics and moral corruption of Liberalism. Progressives have entered even more depravity into our society.
I "wish" that this were not the case, BUT, I have "studied" and "tested all things." Like I said, I work and live in that reality every single day. The people that have the perspective that I am angry and rageful, haven't seen anger or rage until they have worked with the tousands of shattered youth that I have.
Look at this:

Thinker, where does this morally myopic perspective think that all of the aborted babies, abandoned children, child prositutes, drug adicts, youth criminals, porn actors and pedophiles come from? (To name just a few of the results of a Liberal life.) I know where: From Pederasty and incest and every other immoral act that Liberals and Progressives (Humanists), support with their religion of "Tolerance and Diverstity."
I would say "Go to hell," as a response to the stupidity existing in the above little ad hom attack on me, but I am off to work in the reality of what Liberals and Progressives (Humanists one and all) have done to our world "dot dot dot." Also, it appears that, even though they deny the existence of it, The Left seems to be creating Hell here on Earth and enjoying it.
I am off to work with shattered children, the "results" of the morality championed by Democrat legislative actions. I don't apologize for rage in my anger. Or anger in my rage. I don't make the unfortunate and yet valuable children of the liberal and licentious life that their parents embraced, say they are sorry for being angry either. I show them that there is a better way of life than following the bad role models of a Liberal life that progressively failed them.
I am not trying to evangelize on the boards of beliefnet.com. Even though the Leftists are. I just oppose them like any Christian should. Free speech, you know.
Unfortunately Hollywood and Barack Obama and the Democrat, Liberal and Progressive ideologues (Humanists one and all) have more money than I do.
I'm one of those people that do not fear four years of the evil that the Democrats will inflict on and infect America with. I have hope that we will rise above the ashes of what they will cause to fall, and show our next generation that a family and a community is the way God intended it to be. A mother and father, (a woman and a man), married before having children, and committed to being faithful to each other and their children. A decent and good society starts with the foundation of the family. Reference Jesus on what a marriage consists of. I have no tolerance for those that call Him a liar and alter the meaning of marriage. You like to read books, the Gospels are only small letters.

What is really troubling is that Donny works with kids, and someone lets him fill their heads with the same bile he spews here.
In defense of all the people he condemns, these are the people I have seen rise to the occassion when others need help and comfort. It is the gay friend who prays for me when he passes by my favorite cathedral. It is my heathen friend who takes me to the hospital. It is the church-going conservatives that are too busy going to church and bible studies to call a friend.
