Law of Attraction in Action: “Am I in Alignment?”

One of the key principles of using the Law of Attraction effectively is being in alignment. That sounded good when I first heard it but then I got confused about what alignment actually is. I assumed it meant doing all I could to reach my goal. But that’s not what it’s about. Often working very hard increases stress and leaves your feeling drained or just not happy about what you’re doing. So even though you think you’re on the right path, busting your butt to push to get to your goal, you’re not in alignment.

Alignment feels good—always!  If you’re feeling stressed, overworked, pressured, etc., you’re out of alignment and won’t attract the good you could. Alignment means you feel in sync with what you’re expecting. You’re:

•    Excited, not doubtful
•    Relaxed, not anxious or strained
•    In a good mood, not feeling negative
•    Patient that what you want will come at the right time, not feeling disappointment if it doesn’t come immediately

The best thing you can do to get into alignment is—enjoy your life. Do things that feel good. Stop doing things that make you feel bad or stressed. Being in a good place attracts the best results. It’s not necessary to kill yourself working in order to get what you want. Truthfully, you’ll get more if you don’t! This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do anything. But you shouldn’t have to struggle or be unhappy from what you do. If that’s the case, you’re going about it wrong.

Feeling good about doing what you need to do to manifest the outcome you want puts you into alignment. Struggling keeps it from happening.

Negative emotions are alignment busters. Positive feelings feed feeling aligned with what you want to attract. It doesn’t matter how much you want something if you’ve not in alignment to receive it. You can be dying to win a prize or get a raise or meet a romantic partner, but if your emotions are not in sync with the desire, you won’t get it.

If you want to gauge if you’re ready to receive, tune in to how you feel.

Are you happy or down? Nervous with anticipation or stressed? If you don’t feel good then you need to do something to get back on track. The more positive emotions you can generate, the more ammo for manifesting. When you’re in alignment you feel good. Thinking about having your desire manifest should just feel right, and not shadowed by feelings that you don’t deserve it or can’t imagine it coming to you.

So it’s really quite simple: When you feel good you’re in alignment; when you fee bad you’re not!

If you are feeling out of alignment, do something you enjoy to create a happier mood to distract yourself from the negatives and to create more joy.  I’ve been living with this consciousness for years and get so much from it. You don’t have to do all sorts of work or always focus on what you want. For example, I’ve never listened to music when I ran so I never bought an iPod. A few weeks ago, I decided I wanted one. But I didn’t want to buy it! Lately I’ve been especially loving life and my mood has been very positive.

So I decided with a strong expectation that I’d get one from somewhere for free. Maybe it would be for a promotion or I’d win it. But it wouldn’t cost me a cent. Last week I brought my laptop into the Apple store for repair. I’d had trouble getting the problem fixed and called a supervisor for tech support first. He gave me a case number and told me to keep him apprised of what happened. I was told it would be ready in 5-7 days. Late on the 7th day I called the supervisor. He called the store and then apologized for it not being ready. They were backed up.

Apple gives terrific customer support. I’ve always had an Apple computer and swear by them! The supervisor told me that he wanted to give me something because the computer was late. An iPod Shuffle arrived a few days later—for free! Later it hit me—I jus manifested a free iPod to use when I run, just as I’d expected! Even though I manifest often, I was surprised to get it so easily and fast. I’m in such good alignment to manifest lots of stuff and this came to me effortlessly.

Tune into how you’re feeling and if it’s not positive, do what you can to make sure you’re feeling good. That’s the best way to create the good alignment needed for the Law of Attraction to pick up on and work with you in a very positive way.

Dear Dayle,

Thank you for the wonderful blogs of inspiration. I am a big believer in the Law of Attraction.

The last 4-5 years have been a series of unfortunate events and circumstances in my life — personally and professionally. I have found the catalyst which has helped me through these past years is that “everything will work out” and “things will definitely get better” and “a smile and happiness is truly my sanity.”

I look forward to challenges… because they offer me experience and make me stronger. The Law of Attraction has allowed me to look at these life “things” in small pieces and understand that if I see myself past it in a better scenario it will happen… and it does happen.

Thank you again for your wisdom, it too helps me!

This is a great post, by going through it, it gives the sense of repossessing control of our life to redirect it to where we feel better for ourselves. I believe in low of attraction and I’m sure it can improve our inner strenth.
