This is post 210 in my series on the Law of Attraction in Action. You CAN use your power to manifest your desires.. I do it every day! Read all the posts in my Law of Attraction in Action Series to see how.

You may have many things you don’t like in your life. Maybe you’re not making enough money to support your lifestyle or you can’t meet a good romantic partner or you or a loved one is sick or you’re in debt or a million other things you don’t like. If you fight against them, putting out resistance about them, you actually reinforce having them. And that’s what the Law of Attraction picks up on.

I know how hard it is when things are going wrong. It can put you into a bad mood and your focus is on what you don’t want. But that’s counterproductive if you want the Law of Attraction to work for your highest good. If you try to deny your situation, you’re still giving it energy. Most of us tend to go to thoughts, often aloud, that express unhappiness with what’s going on, like:

•    It’s so unfair that other people are advancing in my company and I’m stuck in a boring position with a low salary.
•    My husband shouldn’t criticize me all the time and make me feel bad.
•    I shouldn’t be feeling so lousy.
•    I hate being unhappy!
•    Etc.

The more you fight what’s going on in your life with these kinds of negative thoughts, the more you’ll manifest more of what you don’t want in your life. In order to get past these negative situations, you need to stop resisting what is in your life by accepting it all, because this is what’s happening right now. With acceptance, change can come. Until you accept your what is, you won’t be able to change it, or it will take way longer than it has to. When you complain about something, you focus on what you don’t like, which goes out to the Universe and keeps coming back to you.

Each resisting thought or statement—going on and on thinking “I can’t believe I’m stuck in an apartment I hate because I can’t afford more. I’ll never get out of here.” and thoughts like that—keeps you there. Each complaint or bemoaning of what’s going on reinforces more of it. Those thoughts put you in a negative prison of your own doing. But, you can take the resistance bars down by accepting what’s going on. If you’re in an apartment you hate, you’re there. Hating it won’t change it.

Changing your attitude and thoughts about it can change it. When you relax in the reality and focus on making changes in positive ways, you give yourself some power to change it. Accept the reality and know you can fix what’s going wrong for you. Focus on your blessings to put yourself into a better mood. Create affirmations that work for you:

•    “I don’t know why I’m going through this but something great will come of it.”
•    “I choose for my life to get better.”
•    “I’m smart and can figure out a way to improve my life.”
•    “There’s a reason for this and it will turn around when I let it.”

A great way to do this is to use EFT (Tapping) to clear your resistance. I have a whole week of posts about it HERE. Otherwise those limiting thoughts will sabotage your desire to change life for the better. You CAN! The choice is yours—wallow in self-pity or cheer up and decide to focus on changing what you don’t like. Ask for help from your higher power. I put my situations into God’s hands and things always work out. Let the Law of Attraction support positive change by expecting it to happen.
