Heart 2 GOODAs my parents got older, I made a point to let them know how much they meant to me. I rarely ended a phone call without saying, “I love you.” It meant a lot to them, and to me. When each of them passed away, I felt peaceful knowing nothing was left unsaid and they knew how much I loved and appreciated them.

We often take those who mean the most to us for granted and don’t tell them how we feel. Too many people lose a loved one and feel plagued with regret about the feelings that went unsaid. Sometimes they’re said as the person is dying, but that might not be possible. My mom lived out of town and was in an accident. She passed away before I got to her. I was very grateful that there was nothing unsaid between us.

Everyone likes to feel loved and appreciated. Don’t wait until it’s too late to tell those who mean a lot to you how you feel. Below is a video of someone who learned he hard way. Learn from him! Giving love to others  is a loving gift to yourself. It feels good to you while makes your loved ones feel good. Let this video motivate you to express you feelings!
