Lessons in Leaving Behind the Rushed Life

posted by Guy Finley

Part I:

Being anxious, always in a rush and racing after whatever it is we’ve imagined will help us to be more at peace with ourselves, is like running to catch the shadow of a passing cloud on a hot summer’s day so that we get to stand in a cool spot!

Part II:

Rushing through our lives does not produce more time, or do one thing to increase productivity. To the contrary, rushing limits all possibilities by restricting our powers of higher choice — even as it crushes our unique opportunity to discover and realize the Timeless Life that is our birthright.

Healing from the Inside Out (Part 2)
The next time you experience any kind of pain, you can do something that will turn it into a new and different experience. Each time you catch a pain, admit that nothing you’ve ever done about the pain you experience has brought you the peace or the healing you say you want. The pain always return

Healing from the Inside Out (Part 1)
Life does not come at us from the outside in, even though that is the way we’ve always seen it. Naturally enough, our behavior is based on what our mind identifies as the cause of the problem. We keep fighting the exterior challenge as a means of healing ourselves, but we keep getting hurt. A woun

I am so grateful for Heaven’s Absolute Pure intent for me and all of us. Everything here is relative

and far from the wondrous realm of the Absolute. It is the endless durability of God that allows us the

incredible wonder of all that is deathless and vast.

I want to leave the made rush behind but, for some reason God seems to be toying with me.
He gives me the ability and strength to write two books that are now published and everyone who has read them thinks they are great and I should be rich off of them. So, why am I struggling so hard, why have I been taken to the edge of a cliff and just left to dangle there?
Why would God give me the talent to do this and then nothing comes of it?
I do not have the finances to have copies of my books made so I can not do book signings.
People are asking for the books, especially the Children’s Series but I do not have the money to get where I need to be.
I know that every thing is in Gods time (when he is ready) but I have been waiting and trying for so long (5 years).
I do not want to give up I worked for so long and so hard on these books but, I need someone or something to happen to give me the feeling that all my hard work is at some point going to benifit me and the people I have written the books for.
I am writing today for some feedback, do you think I should keep on trucking or just pack it up and call it a day?
I think blogging is a great way to get an honest opinion.
Thanks
MJ
